Sandra Lee (Ortlip) Delgado, 67, of Exeter Township, entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 20, 2024. Born in Pottstown, PA on September 03,1956, she was a daughter to the late Robert Ortlip Sr. and Doris Arlene (Peck) Ortlip.
Sandra spent most of her working life as a talented seamstress, working with various companies throughout the years; last working at Flag Zone.
Sandra enjoyed the simple things in life: sipping a warm cup of coffee, listening to all genres of music, and dancing whenever the opportunity arose. She had a fondness for horror movies, and found great joy in the kitchen, where she loved to cook and always ensured that anyone who visited left with a full belly. Among her favorite pastimes was playing slots at the casino, and listening to E-Books. However, above all else, Sandra's heart belonged to her family. Her greatest happiness came from being surrounded by loved ones, whose company she treasured dearly.
Sandra was a patient, kind, and caring soul whose simplicity in life made her even more endearing. Her laughter was infectious, and her smile, radiant and beautiful, could brighten even the darkest of days. Her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her will forever hold her in their hearts. May Sandra rest in eternal peace.
Sandra's spirit will be carried on by her 4 daughters Juanita Lucena, Carmin Brown and her husband Channing, Evelyn Delgado, and Rebecca Delgado; her sister Susan M. Girard and her companion Kim Holden; and her 4 brothers Dennis L. Ortlip and his wife Sherry, Michael L. Ortlip and his companion Michelle Noon, Kenneth A. Ortlip and his wife Jayne and David B. Ortlip and his wife Anny. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren Javier, Alejandro, Fernando, Gabriel, Julian, Aiden, Channing Jr., Jariza, Israel, Jazlyn, Avianna, David, and 2 great grandchildren Syre and Nyleve to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her brother Robert Ortlip Jr. and by her husband, Carlos L. Delgado, who passed away on May 15, 2014. The couple wed on May 26, 1984, sharing 30 beautiful years of marriage.
A viewing for Sandra will be held Thursday, June 27, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reading, PA 19606. Prayer service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 10:00 AM, with Pastor Bruce Osterhout officiating. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Pottstown Cemetery West, 371 N. Hanover St., Pottstown, PA 19464.
