Sandra "Sandy" Grace Devlin, 84, of Reading, PA, Entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at her home. Born in Pottstown, PA, on February 14, 1941, she was a daughter to the late Raymond and Mary (Herr) Harter.
In addition to her parents, Sandy was reunited in heaven with her husband, Howard J. Devlin Jr.; her daughter, Tina Devlin; her brother, Raymond Harter; and her sister, Catherine Eisenhardt.
Sandy worked as a seamstress for many years at Wright's Knitwear in Leesport, folding t-shirts at Cinderella, and later alongside her daughter at Reading Soft Pretzels.
Sandy was a member of LCBC – Leesport Campus, where she loved worshiping the Lord. She enjoyed playing card games and never missed a chance to show off her Rummy skills. She also looked forward to her Thursday lunches with her friend Joan and her former coworkers from Wright's.
Sandy's spirit will be carried on by her 5 children: Darlene Levan, Shelly Coulter, Stacy Kasprzak, Howard J. "Skip" Devlin Jr., and Keith Devlin. She also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren to cherish her memory.
A viewing for Sandy will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Theo C. Auman Inc., 247 Penn St., Reading, PA 19601. A funeral service will promptly commence in the funeral home at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Justin Yost officiating. Graveside committal will immediately follow at Leesport Cemetery, Shackamaxon St., Leesport, PA 19533.
