Scott Franklin Fick, 55, of Exeter Township entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Born in Reading, PA on December 23, 1967, he was a son to Kathleen (Weaver) Miller, Franklin Fick and his step father Thomas Miller.
Scott married Stacey Cardell on June 2, 2001, from this union they had a beautiful baby girl, "Emme". Anyone who knew Scott, knew the depth of his love for his wife and daughter was immeasurable. He held many titles in his life, but his favorite role was being a "Girl Dad". A doting father, he attended all her sports activities, never missing a birthday, a holiday, or a school event. Scott was always present as her most avid fan, and remained as such to the very end.
Scott had a “live hard, work hard, play hard” attitude towards life. He was a Plumber by trade and the proud owner/operator of Scott Fick Plumbing, Heating, & Cooling, Inc., for over 10 years. He also was a member of the Nomad Sportsman Hunting Club.
Scott was a man of several interests and embraced life with passion. He took up many hobbies including but not limited to: hunting, fishing, Micro Sprint racing and sports of any kind. He was most proud of his beloved farm, enjoyed every acre of the land and the hard work that went along with it. He loved animals of all kinds (especially his naked cats and naked dogs) and was arguably the greatest Bruce Springsteen fan of all time!
Scott was a man of ACTIONS, not just words and was a light in so many lives. He was an intelligent, loving, adventurous, hardworking man with a heart of gold, who prioritized his family over everything else. The indomitable strength of his easy going personality and his witty sense of humor, coupled with genuine loyalty, humility and kindness, are rare qualities to see in a single person. He will be sorely missed by all blessed enough to have known him.
Scott's spirit will be carried o; his beloved wife Stacey Fick; and his daughter Mary Elizabeth "Emme" Fick. He also leaves behind; 3 sisters Cynthia Feick, Mary Rollman Conroy (Brett Conroy) and Susan Thomas (James Thomas); brother James Miller (Stacie Miller); 2 step brothers Wayne Miller (Marcie Miller) and Steve Miller (Michelle Miller); step sister Sharon McCloughan (the late Michael McCloughan) and his nephew and nieces Jason, Robert, Franklin, Rachel, Rebekka, Michale, Eric, Amber, Shelby, Derek, Anna, Grace, Taylor, Katie Ann, Gavin, Greyson, Aiden; great niece Lilly and a great nephew Michael and 2 goddaughters Kelsey Raine and Paige Hemmig to cherish his memory.
Scott was greeted in heaven by his father Franklin Fick, mother-in- law Elizabeth Cardell, sister Debra Lucas, brother in law Michael Rollman and his Grandparents Raymond and Molly Weaver.
