Shawn Lee Weaver, 62, of Reiffton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at his residence. Born September 6, 1958 in Reading, PA he was the beloved son to the late John and Jean (Kemp) Weaver.
Shawn worked as a truck driver for Tastykake for over 30 years.
Shawn was a homebody who enjoyed watching sports, especially the Eagles and Phillies. He really like electronics of all kinds, although he didn't know how to use most of them. Shawn was the family jokester, you never knew what he was going to say or do, but whatever it was, it was going to be funny.
Shawn's spirit will be carried on by his daughter Shannon Kohl and her husband Eric, of Exeter Township; and son Jesse Weaver and his fiancé Jessica Hertzog, of Gilbertsville. Shawn also leaves behind 6 grandchildren Riley Kohl, Hailey Kohl, Brandi Hertzog, Noah Hertzog, Talon Hertzog and Marissa Wilby to cherish his memory.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the staff of Auman's inc. funeral home, Reiffton. An inurnment for Shawn will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hills Memorial Park, 391 W. Neversink Rd, Reading, PA 19606. In lieu of flowers, well-wishers are encouraged to write a note of farewell on a Coors Light beer can and drink it in his honor.
