Stacy L. Butler-Stripling, 51, of Reading, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 9, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones. Born on June 22, 1970 in Reading, she was the cherished daughter to the late Melissa Butler and Alfred Donaldson.
Stacy's spirit will be carried on by her son Cain A. Butler, 26; daughter Melissa M. Butler,13; sister Isis Mccalister, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and brother Eric Scheuren, of Reading. Stacy also leaves behind several other family members and friends to cherish her memory.
In addition to her parents, Stacy was greeted in heaven by her sister Michelle L. Butler and her brother Richard Czarnecki.
Stacy was most recently employed by 'Ally Oops Sports Bar' at Heister’s Lane. She is fondly remembered by many as a bartender/waitress at 'The Silo' and 'Effie’s Charcoal Chef Restaurant'. She also sang in local bands around the area. One of Stacy’s memorable accomplishments is her authored book, 'They Called Me Queen B'.
Stacy was a prominent graduate of Reading High School, class of 1988. She was an athlete that was known for her spirit as a Reading High Cheerleader, her toughness as a softball player, and her skills as a bowler. She was also very proud of her baton twirling ability from her younger years.
Stacy’s ‘one of a kind’ personality, her creativity, her love of music, her intelligence, and her loving nature has left a lasting impression on many. Her ostentatious style of clothing and accessories, along with her personality, were not shy. She stood out, on purpose, and did it well.
Stacy had a strong sense of faith, and she was most proud of her children Cain and Melissa. Cain has always regarded his mother as a real life superwoman and a strong warrior. Melissa has always admired her mother’s sense of humor and cleverness.
