He was born in Reading, PA., on February 25, 1960, a son of the late Walter J. Pelker, Jr., and Helen M. (Miller) Pelker. He was a 1978 graduate of Reading High School and Reading Muhlenberg CTC. Steven was a member of Nativity Lutheran Church, Reading where he sang with the choir. He was a machinist for Reading Plastic & Metal Advanced Machining since 2021.
Also surviving is his daughter, Erin M. Pelker, brother, Bruce A. Pelker of Blandon, PA., 2 sisters; Lorraine M. (Pelker) Bowers of Maricopa, AZ., and Kathleen J. (Pelker) Terrey of Shillington, PA. and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Steven was also predeceased by his siblings; Walter J. Pelker, III and Eileen E. (Pelker) Park.
A visitation will be Saturday May 4, 2024 from 10-12 noon in Auman's Inc Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
