Susan May Boles, 74, of Cumru Township, went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 5, 2024, at her residence. Born in Bridgeton, NJ on April 27, 1950, she was a daughter to the late Claude John Zielinski and Hazel Elsie (Schell) Zielinski. In addition to her parents, Susan was greeted in heaven by her brother Robert Schell and sister Nancy Spatz.
Susan's spirit will be carried on by her husband of almost 17 years, John E. Boles; daughter Sherry L. Himmelberger; daughter Heather A. Harner; and her brother John B. Zielinski and his wife Linda A. Zielinski.
For many years Susan worked as a seamstress at Spring Ford Sewing Mills, she later served as a department lead at Walmart in Wyomissing.
Susan was a woman of unwavering faith. A member of Spring Valley Church of God, she lived her life with an unwavering belief in the power of prayer and was known for her daily prayers for her loved ones and friends. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength during difficult times, including her courageous battle with breast cancer.
Susan had a playful side, often joking that one of her favorite pastimes was "yelling at her husband," a lighthearted expression of the deep bond they shared. Family was at the heart of everything Susan did. She loved hosting dinner and board game nights, where laughter filled the air as she and her loved ones gathered around the table. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan, enjoyed playing BINGO, discovering and trying new recipes, and starting each day by logging onto Facebook.
Susan’s life was a testament to the power of love and faith. She was a woman who never cursed, who never had a bad bone in her body, and whose kindness knew no bounds. She touched the hearts of everyone she met, leaving a lasting impression with her gentle spirit and compassionate nature. She will be deeply missed by blessed enough to have known her.
