Susan L. Nowack, 63, of Exeter Township, passed away on Saturday, August 18, 2018 in her residence. She was predeceased by her husband Dale L. Nowack on February 23, 2006 Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Richard and Shirley (Hamilton) Harting. She was employed for 30+ years with the former Narrow Fabric Company and last worked for 5 years as a housekeeper at Reading Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Tina M. Schaner of Exeter Township and her son Dale L. Nowack and wife Thalia of Exeter Township. She is also survived by her brothers, Denis Harting of Reading and Keith Harting of Womelsdorf and a sister Joyce Warner of Reading. She is also survived by her granddaughters, Jayda Schaner, Kiara Miller and Kayla Kukielski. Correction to time: Services will be held in Theo. C. Auman, Inc. Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading, on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 3:00 pm. Friends and family may view on Thursday from 1:00-3:00 pm. Inurnment will be Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Berks County Memorial Gardens, Maidencreek Township.

My heart and sympathies go out to the family. Sue was a wonderful person and very caring. I had the pleasure of working with her at Narrow Fabric and also the Hartings were great friends of the family. I think of all of them often and the great memories that we made along with way.
