Sylvia Louvenia Boyd

Sylvia was born in Farmville, VA on June 21, 1943 a daughter of the late Eunice Mae Baldwin (Jones) and James Edward Johnson.

She was a life long and dedicated member of the Church of Deliverance and was last employed by PennDOT for 17 years retiring there.

She leaves behind to cherish memories; her daughter, Kimberly A. (Boyd) Giddens, stepson, Jamal Boyd, her son, Curtis L Boyd Jr., daughter-in-law Bonnie, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, her sisters; Yvonne M Shaw (Bernard), Margaret E Long (John), and Bernice Baldwin, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.

Sylvia was predeceased by her siblings; Cherlynn Johnson, Theresa Hairston, Monica Blake, and Deborah Baldwin.

Services will be Wednesday February 21, 2018 at 1pm in Theo C Auman 247 Penn St Reading. Viewing will be Wednesday 11:30 - 1pm in the funeral home.
