Vasantha Gopalan (lovingly called Thathi), 81, moved beyond this worldly existence and into the embrace of the divine on February 12th, 2025. Born on October 14th, 1943 in Chennai, India, she was the daughter of late R.K. Srinivasan and Jayalakshmi. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She believed strongly in her traditional Hindu values which she upheld and embraced.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, V. Gopalan of Coimbatore, India. Vasantha is survived by her son, Gopalan Sridhar, daughter-in-law, Srividya Ramanathan, younger sister, Lakshmi Sethuraman, and grandchildren, Sashank and Sindura.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15th at the Theo C Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn Street, Reading, PA.
