Walentina Hladun, 87, of Reading passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, in Manor at Market Square. Her husband, Gregory Hladun, passed away in 1994. She was born in Druzhkovka, Ukraine, on June 6, 1927, a daughter of the late Panas and Polina (Kasian) Kolesnik.
Walentina was employed by Penn Optical Co. in Reading as a glazier for 39 years, retiring in 1989.
She is survived by her 2 daughters: Lucy and her husband, Ronald Lynch of Royersford; and Lidia and her husband, Joseph Zidik of Exeter Township. There are 3 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter.
Services will be Thursday, March 26, 2015, at 10 a.m. in Auman's Inc., Funeral Home, 390 W. Neversink Rd., Reiffton, PA 19606. Burial to follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. A viewing will be Thursday 9-10 a.m. in the Funeral Home. www.aumansinc.com
