William C. Angstadt

William C. "Bill" Angstadt, 77, of Providence House, Reading passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at Reading Hospital and Medical Center. He was the loving husband of Doris (Schaeffer) Angstadt, who he married on Dec. 10, 1955.

Born in Reading on July 15, 1935, he was a son of the late Charles and Miriam (Boyer) Angstadt.

Bill graduated from Reading High School.

Bill was employed with Exide Technologies and Industrial Metal Plating, Inc. before an early retirement.

In addition to his wife, Doris, Bill is survived by a daughter, Louise Barlet and her husband, Davey, of Fleetwood; two grandsons, Daniel Barlet of Temple and Dean Barlet and his companion, Nichole Evans, of Fleetwood; and one great-grand-son, Bradly Barlet of Temple.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2012, at Auman's Inc. Funeral Home, 390 Never-sink Rd., Reiffton. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will follow services in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association , 25 Stevens Avenue, 10A, Reading, PA 19609.
