Willie Richard Duncan, 69, of Reading, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, in Wyomissing Nursing Center. He was the loving son of Ruth M. (Mackey) Duncan and the late Escort Lee Duncan. Richard was born in Reading on October 12, 1945.
He was employed with Carpenter Technology Corp.
Left behind to cherish his memory are twelve siblings: Pauline, Brack, Martha, Barbara, Sherwood, Valerie and Lisa of Reading, Mary of Philadelphia, Mackever and Nancy of Charlotte, NC, Coleen of Fayetteville, NC and Rebecca of Pottstown; goddaughter, Octavia and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Richard is predeceased by a sister, Diane Duncan.
A Going Home service for Richard is at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2015, in Theo C. Auman Funeral Home, 247 Penn St., Reading, PA. Family and friends will be gathering in the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Thursday. www.theocauman.com
