 I just heard about aunt Cathy today. My sister Gretchen and I have been thinking of her for months now and was always wanting to go see her before she passed. I loved her soo much and have fond memories of being a little girl visiting and spending time with her and loved her spirit soo much. God Bless all of you.

Mom, I am really going to miss you!  I am so glad to have such wonderful memories that are as clear today as when they happened.  The best ones are from all our camping trips to Hat Creek and Lassen Park.  I remeber being around the campfire at Lassen at night and having the deer come right up as if to join us.  I remember how excited you would get when you caught a trout at Hat Creek.  Now you and Dad are together once more.

Aunt Cathy is, most likely, entertaining the angels with her stories and memories from her long and eventful life.  She will be joking and laughing and making Heaven an even more awesome place than it was before her arrival.  I'll definitely have enough joyful memories of our times together to last me throughout out my own lifetime.  Thanks, Aunt Cathy!  Love you!  Joyce

We will certainly miss our dear little Aunt Catherine and all her wonderful stories.. and sharing "pizza night" with her... Now she is at rest, and once again able to see her beloved sister Arlette....Hope they can stay out of trouble.........Rick and Bonnie Seylar

I'm miss you grandma. She always loved having us visit. She was my grandma through marriage but she acted as if I was always her grandchild. The first time I met her she was so excited to meet me and she said I could sleep in her room with her because she had two beds in there. She was always wanting to be on the go. She loved to go fishing with us. She also loved her church. She took us to it a few times. I'm going to miss you grandma but I'm excited to be able to see you in heaven when I get there.

MOM we all wish we could be there. We miss you so very much already and will continue to miss all the wonderful things we did together and all the things we talked about doing later. Mom sure loved her orange tree and always loved having us visit over and over. She loved to have company and our talks were special too! We love you and will miss you so much Mom!

Mom sure liked to talk on the phone; it was one of her life lines to family as well as to her many friends over the many  years of a happy life.  My favorite time to call her was on Sunday evenings.  As we talked we were always surprised at the different directions and topics our conversations would take us.  Everything was fair game, open-ended.  Each conversation was like exploring a new dimension of our mysterious existence. sometimes as mother and son, and other times like dear friends.  But always she would end  our conversation by saying, "...well it's sure been nice talking to you."
I sure miss you Mom.

My Mom's favorite thing was to go the second service at St. James, because they had "peppy" music. We miss you Mom.

Cathy is sorely missed by her pastor and congregation.  She was a light that shone in every worship service she attended and to everyone who knew her.  She now rests in the arms of her Lord Jesus just as she did throughout her life.  Enjoy the loving presence of Jesus Cathy.
