

Charlotte was born on June 14, 1939 in Bandon, Oregon to Kirk and Bessie Pointer.
She graduated from McCloud High School in 1957; and on April 18, 1959 she married the love of her life, Alfred Earl Bowman.
Charlotte devoted her life to being a loving wife, mother and grandmother, raising her family in Mount Shasta and Weed, California, later moving to Big Springs, where she spent the last 36 years of her life on her and Alfred’s two and one-half acre farm.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Earl Bowman on January 12, 1998.
Charlotte is survived by her daughters, Tracy Lyons and Cheryl Watson; and son, Richard Bowman, all of Weed; stepdaughters, Debra Bowman and Dara Sowell of Medford Oregon; brothers, Richard and Stanley; sisters, Wilma and Myrtle, 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sons-in-law, Dennis Watson and Tim Sowell; and daughter-in-law, Shelly Bowman.
Charlotte’s passions were her family, gardening and reading. Her loving kindness, strength and guidance will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
