Darrell Dean Booth

Darrell Dean Booth passed away at his residence peaceably on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. He was dearly revered by his friends and neighbors where he lived. Dean was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He served on active duty as a Pipe Fitter/Plumber then transferred to the U.S. Air Force Reserve. He also worked at Ford Motor Company and Lockheed Martin Corporation. During this time, Dean married Gerldine Draughon, who had five children. Carol, Eddie, Patty, Brian, and Cathy. Together they had two children, twins Kimberly and Beverley Booth. After their divorce, Dean eventually met and married Fidela Perez-Duncan whom remained his partner until her death in 2022…In a revelation at age 80, his Daughter Karen Huff found him through an Ancestry DNA test he had taken many years earlier. She met him and have had a loving relationship since…He was the son of Elmer R. Booth and Ruby S. Tolen, born in Latimer Oklahoma, but Ruby died a year after, so he was raised by his paternal grandmother Ada F. Barnes. He had four siblings, Leroy E. Booth, Laverne M. Zachary and Juanita L. Fall who all proceeded him in death. His passing leaves behind his sister Linda N. Booth…May he rest in peace .
