July 7, 1970 ~ October 5, 2023
Duane is survived by his wife Michelle Dedmore, their two sons Martin and Tony Dedmore, his children Caleb Dedmore, Callie Dedmore, and Hannah Dedmore, his mother Marlena Dedmore, and his brother Mike Dedmore.
Duane was born in The Dalles, Oregon. During his childhood he moved around to several places including Madras, Oregon and Rio Dell, California. He spent some time in his early twenties living in Montana. He raised his three children and step daughter from his previous marriage in Fortuna, California. Upon beginning a relationship with Michelle, he lived in Eureka, California; Fairhaven, California; Linda, California; Marysville, California; Sonora, California and was currently living with his family in Redding, California.
Duane was a self-taught master mechanic and such a hard worker. Just a summary of some of his jobs he had are: pulling green chain, commercial fisherman, long haul truck driver, city worker, commercial laundry engineer, and master mechanic for heavy machinery equipment. He was always so admired and respected at all of his jobs and worked harder than anyone!
Duane had so much that he did and that he wanted to do more of. He liked fishing, hiking, biking, and being outdoors. He had an artistic talent and had recently begun painting beautiful pictures. He liked to read and watch action and sci fi movies. He loved being with his family more than anything.
Duane had such a deep-rooted faith in God. He believed that God always has a plan, and that it is always working for our good even if it doesn't always make sense at the time. He always said that God would never put us through anything that we can't handle.
A graveside service for Duane will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Lawncrest Chapel & Memorial Park, 1522 East Cypress Ave, Redding, California.
