George L. Wakefield, 68, of Redding, California, died unexpectedly on October 22, 2014. George relocated to Redding in 2001 from Central New York. He is survived by his children, Pamela Zimmer of Cortland, New York, Jim (Julie) Williams of Cottontown, Tennessee, Dylan and Ryan (Lisa) Wakefield of Redding California, and the mother of his children, Sharon Wakefield of Lake California. He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren, Steven and Jenna Zimmer, Tanner, Ella and Maddi Williams and Conner Wakefield. In addition to his family, he is survived by his life partner and best friend, Cecilia Rodriguez of Napa, Ca.
A celebration of George’s life will be held at 2pm on the 4th of November at the Lawncrest Chapel in Redding California.
