Glenda Theresa Head

Glenda Head went to heaven on October 9, 2022, after a long illness. She was born on October 6, 1951, in Bloomington, Illinois, to Glenn and Agnes Head. She was the youngest of four children. As a newborn, her family moved to California, and settled in Shasta County. Glenda attended Bass Elementary School and Central Valley High School. She married Kenny W. Rickard in 1967 and they raised two children before divorcing. Glenda worked as a retail clerk for approximately 15 years. She enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with her family and friends, and loved animals. She will be remembered for having a big heart and her willingness to help others. She always took the time to appreciate the simple things in life and she passed that trait onto both of her children. Glenda is survived by her brothers Bill Head and Donald Head (Trudy), daughter Theresa Rickard-Tibbett (Clyde), son Kenny Rickard (Cindy) and her three grandchildren- Chance Borba, Colton Rickard, and Cara Rickard.
