He had a great sense of humor. 
I ran into him several years ago and he called me by name, and gave me a big hug. What an honor to be remembered by such a kind man.

 I had Mr. Humphrey at Nova, am glad to see he lived a  full life.  Thank you for your teaching us Nova students.

Your obituary was full of details that were unknown to me.  We all enjoyed his stories around our RV campsites.  Dennis liked to hear his adventures as a pilot during WW II.  His passing will be a great loss to family and friends. 
 I know how difficult his passing will be especially to Margaret.  Embrace your family.  My family and friends helped me when Dennis passed away in April 2015.  My thoughts and prayers to all, Faith Irwin (Redding, CA)

Jan & Bill, Margaret, Joanne & family, so sorry for your loss.  What a nice write up about Jack.  I only met him a few times many years ago, but I heard so many interesting stories about his life from Jan and Bill over the years.  I know you will miss him a great deal.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
