Larry Jackson Jr.

Larry Jackson, 44, of Redding, California passed away on June 22, 2026. Larry was born November 30, 1981 in Ventura, California to Deanna Chandler and Larry Jackson Sr., and brought up by Deanna Chandler and Jerald Ford Sr.

He moved to Redding, grew up and accepted a position of concrete finisher for over 15 years. He worked for many companies, such as Muse for many years and briefly at Ledford construction for one of his closest friends, Dave Ledford.

On December 15, 2017 he married Ilena Crow, AKA Jackson.

Larry really enjoyed listening to music very loud driving his mustang with the top down and his son Travien next to him. He was very proud of his Native American heritage and took pride in teaching others how to speak the language. Larry also loved being a grandfather. He cherished his grandchildren Adaria, Asiahs, Kamari, Ximena, and Kelsie.

Larry was loved so very much by his family and friends, and will be greatly missed. His family will always remember him as a little bit of a hot-head, however he was a very loving and very caring person. He was the protector.

Larry is survived by his wife, Ilena Jackson of Redding; mother, Deanna Chandler; dad, Jerald Ford Sr.; sister, Christine Ford; brother-in-law, Cleo; brother, Jerrel Ford Jr.; and his children Arianna, Travien, Jacinda, and Ayasha.

He is preceded in death by his Grandmother, Barbara Chandler; Grandfather, Dennis Chandler; his best friend, John-John Marzola; Cousin, Mark; and his dog, Chopper.

The family would like to thank everyone for being here, and all the prayers, kind words, and support.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 17th, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Lawncrest Chapel. All are welcome to come and say their final "see you laters."

A Celebration of Life will be announced in days to follow. Everyone is welcome to come celebrate with family and loved ones.
