I recall you talkin' to a woman on the phone for over an hour, when you hung up dad asked "who was that" you replied "wrong number". That's just how you rolled. Easter Lamb in Heaven
 
It's Easter time in heaven
Christ sits upon the throne
His faithful sheep are gathered 'round
This palace made of stone.
 
A rugged cross comes into view
Beyond the crystal sea
A sun-filled room, an empty tomb

In heaven, God reminds us
The reason we are there
How Jesus hung upon the cross

The Lake
The beauty of the lake is always changing,

Mothers Day 2011

One year ago today you passed away. Rather than dwell on the sadness of your passing I want to celebrate your life. You had a great life with dad.  Married almost 50 years and  raised a good family. You were a strong  woman and always showed how much you loved your family and friends.  I’ll always miss you mom. 
I read this poem and I thought of you because I always feel you near.

I’m still here, though you don’t see.

Mum please while watching over Ginger and Cricket could you give them the strength and love to go on with life and try at least to be happy and healthy and remember that no matter what you are always with them in their hearts and souls. I miss you and love you so much and I hope that you will help me to help them to be able to move on in their lives and yet still keep you close always. I love my sisters even if we are not blood they mean the world to me always and forever.

The Holidays are not the same without you mum. Christmas was always your favorite holiday and you always brightened it with your love and smiles. I know you and dad are watchin over us. We Love and miss you so much.

This holiday season is a time to remember how important it is to be connected with friends and family.I am very happy that Ginger and Cricket are very special and close friends of mine.I know that (Laura) truly a special lady, is now watching over all of us. She will always have a special place in my heart as well.

Mum I know that today would have been your 53rd anniversary and I also know that you are with Dad and happy now so I am happy. We all are going through some tough times in our lives at present and yet we know you are there watching over us and helping us through the tough times we are going through. I know that I truly need your watchful eye and I love so love the feeling of you there when ever I need you. I miss you and love you and am so grateful your finally healthy and happy.

IN MEMORY OF OUR MOTHER
July 4,1938 to March 8, 2010

The room was filled with sadness
Her life we asked to spare
The thought of losing our mother
Was more than we could bear

She was ready to take a journey
That was hard for us to face
With heaven her destination
Her sight on a better place

My sister and I were with her
Our brothers unable to be near
Mother knew someone was missing
Still we huddled near.

The time went by so slowly
And we had to wonder why
Who could she be waiting for
Was it really her time to die

Then her sister who was absent
Suddenly called upon the phone
She knew we would never be alone
Our spirits were uplifted
And God eased our mourning gloom

We quoted the 23rd Psalms from the bible
And then we begin to sing
A calmness descended upon us
As an angel unfolded her wings

Before our song was over
We knew her fate was death
She went to be with Jesus
As she drew her final breath

We told our mother we loved her
And we wanted her to know
Even though our lives were shattered
It was OK for her to go

She had been a shining example
And we hoped to do the same
Our hurt is overwhelming
But our loss is heaven's gain

Mother took that trip she wanted
It was so very hard to part
And before she left we told her
You will "forever live in our hearts"

My mom taught me a lot as I was growin up. How to cook, crochet, tried to teach me how to sew, but as many know I didn't take to that.
Countless other things a mother teaches her children.
But the things that mattered the most that she taught me was how to be a family, how to love, fight and care for those that you call family and friend. 
Mom taught me strength and courage
She was the strongest and most courageous person I have ever known. She taught me how to fight back at life's unfair odds.
Mom's fight is over but she has one final thing to teach.
It's the hardest thing she is teachin me. She is teachin me how to let go of someone I love. It's not an easy lesson and I guess it's one I won't learn because I Love you mom and I will never let go.

Your Mother, Your Angel

You look back on memories you forgot you had,

Mum I will miss your smile and the way you always had time to spend with us when we played online singing and talking. I remember that like it was yesterday. I know that you walk with the Goddess and your with Dad and happy and free of the pains that you once had. I love you and will always remember you in my heart and soul always.

Mom, u were a mother to 4 and a mom to many. I cherishish the time I met u. I will never forget u. Ya was a kind, carin, lovin, very beautiful and intelligent woman. I felt ya take me as ur own the day we met for lunch with Ginger and Laura and urself. I remember the songs ya wanted me to play for u on the computer.
