Louvine was born on Sept 30 1934, In Ketchum Oklahoma, to Alexander and Susan (Evans) Girdner She had Six brothers, five older and one younger brother. Louvine met her husband, Kenneth R.. McKinzie at a Church picnic, when they were in high school. They were married November 18th 1953. They were married 71 years.
Louvine went to Modesto High school, she was the first in her family to graduate.
She enjoyed knitting, Photography and Gardening.
She will be remembered as a very Kind person and mother who always but others first.
Louvine is survived by her Children, Kenneth McKinzie Jr., (Marlys) of Modesto CA, Cynthia (McKinzie) Graham of Monterey CA, and Susan McKinzie of Redding CA, Granddaughter Angela Graham Houweling, (Tim Houweling) of Carmel Valley CA, Grandson Kevin Graham of Hercules. One Great grandson Alexander Graham Houweling of Carmel Valley CA, Two brothers Alex and Wayne Girdner, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her husband Kenneth McKinzie, Her parents Alex an Susan (Evans) Girdner and brothers Henry Dale (Helen), William (Hazel), Alvin (Lavina) and Martin (Joyce) Girdner.
A celebration of life will be held at
Lawncrest Chapel & Memorial Park
Redding, California.
A viewing will be held at Lawncrest Chapel, 1522 East Cypress Ave, Redding, CA 96002
