December 3, 1929February 11, 2021

Mary Lou Morris passed away the morning of February 11, 2021 in Redding CA at the age of 91 under the excellent care of Sundial Assisted Living and Bristol Hospice. Mary Lou was born on Dec 3, 1929, in New Castle, Pennsylvania to Henry Hunt Gregor and Mary Jane (Allsopp) Gregor, the eleventh of twelve children. After graduating high school, Mary Lou went west and settled in Los Angeles, CA where she found a job as telephone operator. While there, Mary Lou met a handsome sailor, Eugene Morris of Howard, Kansas, and in 1951 they married and settled in the San Gabriel Valley area. There they raised their five children, John, Ken, Mary Alice, Larry, and Linda. After Gene’s retirement in 1984, they relocated to Redding, CA. Mary Lou was a big-hearted, caring person who loved her family, Bingo, the Dodgers, Elvis, camping, crafts, and casinos. If someone was in need, she found a way to help. Mary Lou was the greatest Mom in our neighborhood growing up as she loved all the kids she came in contact with. I'll never forget how upset she was the day Elvis died. She also made stuffed cabbage that was out of this world!
Thank you for always being there Mary Lou to listen and give advice to all of us on Stephora!
I will never forget you and know that I loved you very much!
