Mary Lou Powell was born on May 5, 1918, the middle child of ten siblings. With remarkable longevity, Mary Lou outlived all siblings and passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the extraordinary age of 108.
On July 27, 1935, Mary Lou married Lowell Powell. Their marriage was one of deep devotion and happiness, lasting 61 years until Lowell’s passing. Together, they welcomed a beloved daughter, Dianna Lee, who survives.
Mary Lou’s legacy continues through Dianna Lee and Dianna’s two children: Duane Lee, spouse Julie Lee and Kevin Lee married to Eidi Lee. She had been further blessed with ten great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
Mary Lou Powell will be remembered for a long life marked by family, resilience, and generations of love.
