Milbern Marvis Jay, beloved father, uncle and grandfather, age 91, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 1, 2025. He lived in Redding, CA since 1953 after moving from Arkansas. He was born October 11, 1933 in Delaware, AR to Lee Jay and Dora Alice

On November 23, 1951 he married Reetha A. Byrd. Together they had 3 Children, Teresa (Morefield) and sons Loren and Larry.
He is survived by his loving daughter Teresa (Dan), son Loren, 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 5 great,great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Lawncrest Chapel,1522
E. Cypress Ave., Redding, CA. Interment to follow at Lawncrest Cemetery.
