Rena was born in Klamath Falls, Oregon, raised in Redding, California, and resided in Red Bluff, California.
She was preceded in death by her father John J. Detto, born in Herrin, Illinois, sisters; Gwendolyn Wilks and Mary Vogt.
Rena loved to live close to nature, her home away from home was camping and sitting under the stars by the fire.
Her favorite course of study was philosophy and law. Rena was an avid reader, she was always continuing her academic education. She worked in medical billing until she was forced into retirement due to a debilitating illness.
Rena is survived by her loving mother, Lucy N. Detto, born in Missouri, Arkansas, children; Felecia Lovitt and Heather Dickens, two granddaughters; Kayla and Tayler Dickens, Brothers; Wayne and Butch Detto, Sister; Violet Scott.
