Ron will be missed. It was my pleasure to meet Ron at UCSF and we shared some great hours together. Thanks for being my friend.

You will be missed, my friend.  We shared many a good time years ago on the ski slopes of Shasta and Batchelor mountains. You helped teach my daughter Marci how to ski at a yery young age.  She still has fond memories of "wild-man Ron", our many trips, "tuna fish sandwiches" and friendship so long ago. 

Even though we were out of touch for many years, when we did reconnect you were still same thoughtful and considerate friend that I had known for so many years. You seemed to have developed an inner peace that was so evident when we last spoke.

My dear friend, rest in peace in the arms of our "Loving God". You will be long remembered.

I came to know Ron through his long time friend David over 25 years ago.  During his last 2 years we shared encouraging thoughts with each other.  I enjoyed him and he will be missed.  He remained in a strong spiritual state through all the pain.

Rest in peace Dear Ron.
You are off on a new adventure.
You will be missed as part of our family.

My relationship with Mr. Burns was breif,and very pleasurable.  He would visit my work, and I looked forward to his visits, he would brighten my day with his smile and conversation.  Another good one gone, but not forgotten.

I will miss Uncle Ron.  He was a good man.

Ron was a dear friend.  My children and I had the joy of meeting Ron many years ago.  Ron was instrumental in getting us through a very hard time in our lives and provided us with many great adventures.  He will always hold a special place in our hearts, as words can never express our gratitude for his kindness and friendship.

Ron  Burns, a cousin, I had not seen in many years since his family
moved away from the MidSouth  years ago.  Both Ron and my brother, 
Ed Burns served in the Marine Corps together and made it a point to visit when possible. I reconnected with him after my brother's death 
in 1989.  

I know he enjoyed outdoor life as he often shared with me some of his "adventures" and I could visualize the places in my mind as he
described them so vividly.  

During his illness I was saddened by the fact that he was alone in California, far away from family members  scattered about in Texas, Colorado, Maryland and the mid-south areas.  It has been comforting to me to learn of  friends in California, especially those who have been such a help and encouragement to him during his illness. I appreciate your efforts..Although I know being a caregiver isn't an easy task.  He often mentioned you in our e-mails and phone calls.  

I was hospitalized for over 2 months after an accdent and  missed his last phone call to me in November. which I regret so much.   I  was unable to call him from the hospital phone and didn't have his number in my cell phone. Perhaps I could have lifted his spirits again and encouraged him. 

I know  friends will miss him, even a I do, but I pray all  might find comfort in  knowing that now he is free of all pain and at peace in his new home in  Heaven.

Ron was such a good man.  He tought me how to sail and we played backgammon a lot.  shared some quite momunts and had fun with David and Debbie.  I would not trade his friendship for anything.  I am just sad that I was not able to be with him while he was sick.  I love you Ron.
