Sharon Elizabeth Britain

Sharon Elizabeth Britain age 70 of Cottonwood, California passed away December 20, 2016. She was a 1964 graduate of Enterprise High School in Redding, California. Sharon retired after 37 years in escrow/title work. She was a 47 year resident of Shasta County before retiring and relocating to Ozark, Arkansas in 2001 where she lived with her husband of 44 years until his death in 2009.

Sharon was a very accomplished equestrian and loved her horses. She was a mother of 3, stepmother of 1, grandmother of 6, step-grandmother of 6, great grandmother of 2 and one on the way.

Sharon enjoyed her family and taking pictures of them as well as her crossword puzzles and putting jigsaw puzzles together. She loved making homemade ice cream and taking her family out to eat. Sharon had a large loving family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry. Survived by daughters: Wendy Rogers and Laura Phillips; son Travis Britain; step daughter Cyndi Varich; sister Barbara Haakinson; 6 grandchildren: Sarah, Whitney, Carter, Jessica, Tristan and Kaycie; 6 step grandchildren: Kelli, Cole Makayla, John, Maddi and Macy.

Sharon was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was kind, silly and fun to be with. She always tried to make people happy. She will be greatly missed by her many family and friends. A celebration of Life will be held at Lawncrest Chapel located at 1522 E. Cypress Ave Redding, California on Friday December 23, 2016 at 11:00am.
