Shirley M. Tillery went home to be with the Lord on January 12, 2015. She was born February 3, 1930 in San Bernardino, CA. Shirley moved to Redding in 1981, where she and Bob along with daughter, Sharon and son-in-law Jerry formed B&J Paving. Upon retiring she and Bob shared their love for travel and had the opportunity to visit most of the 50 states. She had many passions, her favorite baseball team, her support group from New Horizons, but more importantly; her family.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob Tillery, son Steven Hall, grandson Gary Scott and granddaughter Melissa Hall. Shirley is survived by daughter Sharon and son-in-law Jerry Oetzel, daughter-in-law Paula Hall, 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at Lawncrest Chapel and Memorial Park on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army or Haven Humane Society.
