Steven "Doug" was born on September 4th, 1970, in Bakersfield, CA to parents Jerry and Sharon Oetzel. He worked as an operator with B&J paving INC. for more than 20 years.
Steven had 2 boys. Steven loved his boys and said they were his greatest accomplishment. Steven "Doug" was survived by his sons Jeramiah Oetzel in Oklahoma and Bobby Oetzel of Redding; his parents Jerry and Sharon Oetzel of Redding and his brother Danny Oetzel. He was proceeded in death his grandparents Bobby and Shirley Tillery and his brother Darin Oetzel.
