Velma Lee Evans (Logan): Born Sunday, July 13, 1919 to James and Lula Frances Logan, in Crane, Missouri. She went to be with the Lord Friday, October 26, 2012, while at her home in Shasta Lake.

She married James L. Evans March 24, 1940.

Then moved to California, were they spent their lives raising their 8 children; Ed & his wife Cheryl Evans of Hillsboro, Oregon, Jim & wife Churstie Evans of Big Bend, California, Richard & wife Diana Evans of Jones Valley, California, Dwight & wife Helen Evans of Redding, California, Frances & her husband Don of Redding, California, Philip & his wife Charlotte Evans of Grants Pass, Oregon, Larry Evans of Shasta Lake, California and Phillis Joanne & her husband Jim Styir of Shasta Lake, California.

Adding to their family 18 Wonderful Grandchildren, 26 Beautiful Great-Grandchildren and 2 Sweet Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Also survived by her Brother Harold Logan of Marionville Missouri and 3 Sister's Freda Houser, Mary May and Joann Steele of Crane, Missouri.

She was active in the Shasta Lake PTA from 1946 until 1971.

Was Den Mother for the Shasta Lake Local Cub scouts from 1951 until 1961.

An active member if the Eastern Star Chapter 17 from 1967 until October 26, 2012.

Member of the Shasta Lake V.F.W. Lady's Auxiliary Club since 1971.
