Betty Joan Peavler

Betty passed away peacefully on May 5, 2014. She was the loving wife of the late James Peavler. She is survived by her daughters; Donna (John) Adkins, Judy (Don) German, Janet (Paul) Eddings and Gail (Darren) Davidson, brother Jack Schaft, grandchildren; Tina, Sam, Brian, Tammy, Derek, Heather, Dustin, Dana, Joshua, Pete and Lisa, great grandchildren; KayLa, Sammy, Ariana, Cristian, Arien, Chad, Mychal, Dakota, Dallas, Dempsey, Emily, Paul and April, great great grandson Michael and her beloved dog Molly.

Betty enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church for over 45 years. Betty was always known for having snacks in her purse. One of the loves of her life was her dog Molly. Of course, her main love above all was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Rd. Redford, MI 48239 on Thursday May 8 from 2-8 and the funeral service will be at St. James Lutheran Church 14450 Ashton St. Detroit, MI 48223 on Friday May 9 at 10 am with an in state time of 9 am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. James Lutheran Church.
