Carmen Doris Blodgett

Carmen Doris Blodgett was born January 5, 1914 to Carl and Florence Ward. She retired from A & P where she worked as a cashier for more than 20 years. She was a long time member of the Detroit First Church of the Nazarene in Northville, Michigan. She was an accomplished organist, who played for many churches throughout Michigan and Illinois.

Carmen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gerald Blodgett and her daughter Sandra Norris. She is survived by her two grandchildren John (Diane) Norris and Tracy (Richard) Will. She is the great grandmother of Kristopher, Bob, Vinnie (Ashley), Austin, Carson and Calysta and the great great grandmother of Karley, Oliver, Montana and Spencer. She is also survived by her sister Helen.

Friends may visit Carmen's family during a memorial gathering in her honor on Saturday March 10, 2012 from 1:30 pm until her memorial service at 2:00 pm at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home, located at 25450 Plymouth Road in Redford, Michigan 48239. The funeral home is on the north side of Plymouth Road between Telegraph and Beech Daly Roads.
