Dorrie was the beloved wife of Bill for almost 37 years. Stepsister of the late Joan Park. Several nieces and nephews survive her.
Dorrie was known as the neighborhood socialite. She would take walks every day and stop at each neighbors home if they were outside and chat about the events of that day. She was always sweet and friendly and had an unmistakable laugh that could be heard down the street. Dorrie loved her pet bunnies who all have predeceased her: “Molly”, “Lovely”, and “Tommy”. She could be found picking dandelions in the yard for them. She enjoyed watching retro television and always had fun going out to eat, especially to “Marco’s”, one of the local favorites. Every server knew who she was when her and Bill would walk in the door. Dorrie’s special charm and kind heart will be dearly missed by all of her friends in the neighborhood.
