Errol Edgar Koos
May 22, 1939 – March 3, 2021
Errol Edgar Koos, 81 of Farmington Hills, passed away March 3rd, 2021. The son of the late Harry and Evelyn Koos, he was born May 22nd, 1939 in Detroit, MI.
Errol was a member of the 1957 Dearborn Fordson High School graduating class. Errol was proud of his service in the U.S. Navy traveling the world aboard an aircraft carrier before embarking on a long and successful career as a sales executive in the computer industry, which allowed him to travel extensively and along with beloved wife Wendy, to live throughout the U.S. and Canada.
He was recently preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Wendy Koos; he is survived by his children Errol Koos Jr. (Julie) of Macomb, Scott Armstrong of Ann Arbor, and Heidi Breeden (Wade) of Seattle; he was preceded in death by his sons Todd, Christian, and Raymond. Errol is also survived by his cherished grandchildren James, Jack, Nina, and Alex.
Errol grew up in Dearborn, MI where he was a professional Ukrainian dancer as a child. He was the third of four children, having been preceded in death by his brothers Bob and Dave, and sister Lynn.
Errol was one of the funniest people to have graced our planet. He never missed an opportunity to see the humor in a situation, and his ability to make others laugh was amongst his greatest gifts. Even through life's challenges, he always had a story or joke to share, his loving heart wanting to ensure that the world never forgot to laugh.
Errol and Wendy traveled a beautiful road together, not without its bumps and curves, but one that allowed them to raise a dearly loved family together, gather a cherished group of friends, and travel to places they'd only once dreamed of visiting. They weathered tremendous storms together, but through everything, remained devoted to each other and their family. We are truly blessed to know that they are now together again, Home with their sons.
A memorial service will be planned for spring/summer 2021. He will rest at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the St. Louis Center, 16195 Old U.S. 12, Chelsea, MI 48118.

I had the pleasure of working with arrow for some years. And the pleasure of knowing his loving wife Wendy. Years at Lewis Jewelers in that Kay Jewelers. Many fun times and laughs. His jokes that were funny and even if they were not you had to laugh. He wasn't afraid to tell you how it was and how it is. But was always a kind man.
I still have years ago he gave me a computer desk I still have it I still use it. May you rest in peace he's with Wendy now I'm sure they're happy.

I have nothing but good memories of Errol. He was one grade ahead of me at Fordson High School. He was known as a ladies' man. Seemed like he had a new girlfriend every week. He was a fantastic dancer and as funny as could be. I will miss him. This is a picture of Errol and me around 1942-43.

Rest in Peace!
I met Errol when we worked for Data General. We shared lots of laughs and prayers over the years! My wife, Barbara, and I enjoyed our friendship with Errol and Wendy that began in Michigan and continued in Illinois.
May Errol and Wendy watch over the family and enjoy each other's company in Heaven!
All the best to the Koos family!
