George was a proud United States Army Veteran and later served the area for many years as a talented carpenter and skilled handyman. A friend to many, George was known for his quick wit and humor, always able to make people laugh.
George is survived by his wife of 53 years, Holly, his son, Eric (Ashlee), three grandsons, his brother, Steven (Jeanie), and sisters, Rebecca (the late Tom) Boyle, and Cathy (the late Gary) Sparr.
George's family will receive friends beginning at 12:00pm for a 2:00pm memorial service on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Harry J. Will Funeral Home 25450 Plymouth Road, Redford Twp., MI 48239, followed by a luncheon.
