John M. Kennedy

(1955 - 2015)

John M. Kennedy Age 60 died tragically on June 3, 2015. John of Dearborn Heights was a kind, considerate, and loving man. He was a proud graduate of Michigan State University and a retiree of Ford Motor Company.

He was predeceased by his parents John and Margaret (Healy) Kennedy. He was the loving and treasured brother of Noreen Kennedy (Traverse City, MI) and Colleen (James) Giovanni. John was the proud and cherished uncle of Sean (Melissa) Giovanni (Nashville, TN) and Meagan Giovanni. John is survived by his uncles, Joe Kennedy and Robert Healy; his aunts Nora Vitale and Mary Ann Kennedy, many cousins and his loyal and faithful companion, his dog, Arnie. John was respected by many loyal friends and associates.

He was an avid fisherman and golfer. All that were fortunate to know him will miss his sense of humor, his genuine smile and his ever-present willingness to help another person. John cared for his elderly parents in their later years and generously and frequently assisted elderly neighbors and a disabled neighborhood girl and her family. John lived his life like a Good Samaritan. He was a long time member of The Church of the Divine Child.

A Funeral Mass will be said for John at The Church of the Divine Child in Dearborn followed by his internment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Gathering at the church from 9:00 am until the time of Mass at 9:30 am Thursday June 11, 2015.
