I have known John for 24 years. By far one of the nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet. John had a work ethic that was beyond reproach and was always willing to help you out no matter how busy he was. I will miss our teamwork. I will miss our endless fish stories,  our fishing trips, and your sarcastic banter. Most of all I will just miss you. Rest in Heaven my friend ❤

I started working with John at Home Depot in the Garden Department in March 2020. He used to tell me different stories of his work career and I gained so much knowledge from working alongside with him.  He was the most sarcastic person you would ever meet but he was also one of kindest and most upstanding men I’ve had the privilege to work with. He had a lot of offer and I’ll always take what I learned from him and apply it to my life. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work. You will be greatly missed. RIP John.

John was the most easygoing guy I knew.  I played softball with John for over 10 years and never saw him in a bad mood.  John was still a pretty good athlete.  Played left because he never dropped a ball, had a great arm and was hitting around 600.  I’m still in shock and am still processing it but I know he’ll be heading straight to the clouds! John was always  known for his very special  way of joking some people  didn't  quite know how to take him but I did we always  had  a good laugh just Tuesday he came  by my register with that  look like he was gonna say something crazy (joking) & he  knew I would come right back  at him  but this day  he just looked I looked he threw his hands up and we both just  laughed & he went on down the aisle  I guess  he was telling me good bye in his own way  I appreciate  the gift  of  laughter he  left  with me  I pray your up there making those you've missed laugh  again & I pray you didn't suffer any pain . John, though I’ve only worked with you for a short 3 years , you were a pleasure to be around. I enjoyed your humor immensely. I looked forward to the days that we were on the same schedule. You made it a pleasure. Rest In Peace my friend.

John was an amazing man.  He had passion for work, but way more passion for the outdoors.  He taught me a lot when I worked with him at home depot. He also taught me a lot when it came to fishing and hunting.  I’m going to miss the random stop by when he got a deer or a big fish!   We are all going to miss you John.  Rest In Peace.
