Never really spent a lot of time with John at Borgess, but knew of him well; so sorry to hear of his passing - hoping his immediate family knows he was remembered by many, and he will rest in peace!



I remember John well.  He was always a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable in his profession. He always had a kind word for everyone and always willing to go the extra mile to help any one that needed help with a problem. He is one of only a very few outside vendors that I can remember well and considered as a friend. I know he will be missed by everyone that had the good fortune to have known him. My condolences to all his many friends and his family.

I had the pleasure of working with John for over 30 years at Modicon/Schneider Electric. He was one of the nicest and kindest people I have ever met and he made friends of everyone he met. My sincere condolences on your loss

John Sporer was one of my oldest and dearest friends.  We first met in 1977 and have had a wonderful friendship throughout the years.  John was a beautiful soul.  He was kind, caring, spiritual, generous and possessed a wit that is rare to find.  No one could make me laugh the way John did.  
I am deeply saddened by his passing, but am comforted in knowing that he is now in a far better place.
Rest in Peace, dear friend.  You will be missed.  

John loved music he was an encyclopedia of rock bands and lead guitarists. He practiced riffs his entire life although we never heard him play the music that gave him joy. I'm sure if he had an amplifier we would have heard something spectacular.  John did share his poetry and sense of humor with a recitation of PU Dinkleman and many more. He loved to laugh and tell a joke. John didn't have a mean bone in his body. John was generous and kind, loved his family and friends. He loved dogs especially Rato, Henry, Nigel, Cyrus and Eli. John was a man of mystery he lived seemingly without a care in the world. He had a strong faith in God maybe that's why! John,  I loved you like a brother. My heart breaks for the entire Sporer family and the 2 loses endured in the past 3 months. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Becky
