Joyce Ann West, age 87 of Redford, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 8, 2025. Joyce was born on December 24, 1937, in Princeton, Kentucky, to the late Linn and Effie Mae Bennett.
She is survived by her two children, Katherine and David, three grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her sister Donna. She will be deeply missed by her lifelong friend, Tot Breher.
In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in passing by her husband, Jack; her daughter, Robin; and her sister, Judith.
Joyce was a proud graduate of Western High School, where she met her future husband of 64 years. Upon graduating, Joyce and Jack began raising their family. She retired from Gage Marketing following her tenure as a secretary.
Joyce enjoyed knitting, gardening, completing the Detroit Free Press and New York Times crossword puzzles, and watching classic movies with her daughter. She will be deeply missed.
