Beloved wife of the late Robert Baker. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Stefanie Neubauer, her brother, Henry, and sister, Lorraine Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Kristin (Dan) Sherman, her sister Connie (Ken) Walen, sister-in-law, Barbara Birdsall, and many nieces and nephews.
Margaret (Marge to everyone) was a kind, generous and fun-loving person. She shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with Bob. They enjoyed their cottage in Gaylord and many winters spent in Sarasota as well.
An animal lover, contributions may be made in her memory to the Friends of the River Rouge Animal Shelter, 100 W. Pleasant St., River Rouge, Michigan 48218.
Burial services will take place at the Great Lakes National Cemetery on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
She will be missed.
