Margaret (Maggie) Anne Dempsey, 64, of Livonia, Michigan, was born July 9, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late John D. and Anne (nee Tomas) Dempsey, and passed away Tuesday June 27, 2023, in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
Maggie was the cherished daughter of John and Anne, beloved sister of Maureen S. Dempsy, Kathleen M. (Philip) Penner, John M. Dempsey, and Michael D. Dempsey, and fond Aunt of Anne (Andrew) Gilstrap, John Penner, and Maureen Penner. She was loved by her many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially her friends at The Gathering Place Clubhouse in Redford, Michigan.
Maggie grew up in Farmington Hills, graduated from Harrison HS and Michigan State University, lived in Chicago, and returned to Livonia, residing there for over 30 years. She enjoyed keeping up with her family and friends, was an avid reader, and enjoyed a wide variety of movies.
There was a funeral Mass for family, at St. Priscilla Catholic Church in Livonia, on July 31.
