Melanie Larese

Melanie Rochelle Larese was born in Los Angeles, California on October 2, 1970 to John and the late Cecilia Carroll. She was one of 6 children. Melanie passed away suddenly in Garden City, Michigan on February 27, 2017 at the age of 46.

Melanie was the beloved wife of Patrick J. Larese of Redford since their vows on June 1, 1997. Loving mother of Gillian R. Larese and Cecilia E. Morrill. Dear grandmother of Skylar Maynard, all of Redford. Daughter of John (Cindy) Carroll of Auburn Hills. Sister of Janeen Susko of St. Clair Shores, Yvonne Carroll-Taylor of Wixom, Angela Madden of Clarkston, Andrea Ward of Novi, and James Carroll of St. Clair Shores.

Melanie was a natural caregiver and worked as a child care professional for many years. However, she was happiest when she decided to stay home and care for her own children and family. She was a proud Native American of the Chumash Tribe and enjoyed the many traditions of her heritage.

Melanie's family will celebrate her life with a Memorial Service, led by Pastor Jo Ann Bastien, at 6:00 pm on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at the Devon Aire Community Church of the Nazarene 9435 Henry Ruff, Livonia, Michigan 48150. They will receive guests at the church beginning at 5:30pm.
