Steven was a devoted sports fan who proudly supported all Detroit sports teams throughout his life. He held a special place in his heart for the Detroit Tigers and rarely missed an opportunity to follow the team he loved so dearly.
Beyond his passion for sports, Steven found great joy and companionship in his two beloved black cats.
He leaves behind his cherished cousin, Kathy, who will forever hold his memory close.
Steven was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Minu, as well as his parents, Edward and Margaret Bednarz.

Visitation will be held at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 25450 Plymouth Rd, Redford, MI 48239, US, on June 14, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
A Committal Service will take place at Woodmere Cemetery, 9400 W Fort St, Detroit, MI 48209, US, on June 15, 2026, at 11:00 am.
