Darlyne Joyce Bales passed away at the age of 87, surrounded by her children and Pastor, on January 31, 2017. Born in Minnesota, Darlyne was a stewardess for Pan Am. During her 64 years of marriage, Darlyne was a devoted officer's wife, a Pastor's secretary, a church school librarian, an editorial assistant for a dental journal, and an active member of the LCMS. She was a wonderful homemaker, mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her husband David, son Damon, parents, and sister Joan. She is survived by her children Jeff, Diantha, Jamie, and Darice; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister Lorraine, and nieces and nephews. A private service for family and close friends will be followed by a burial at Cedar Lawns in Redmond.
