Gloria June Renner

Gloria Renner, the beloved mother of Jeff Renner, mother-in-law of Susan Renner and grandmother to Dr. Eric Renner and his wife Darci, passed away on July 13th at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. A funeral mass will be held Friday, August 7th at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish at 11:30am. Gloria was born November 18th, 1926 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Charles and Dorothy Schramek. Growing up in Elkhorn and Fontana, Wisconsin, she graduated from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, Illinois with a degree in Sociology. During her college years, Gloria also graced the stage of Belfry Theatre Summer Stock in Delavan, Wisconsin as an actress. After graduation, she worked in the advertising field in Chicago, before marrying Russell Renner November 8th, 1952. Gloria did volunteer work at her son’s schools, as a Cub Scout Den Mother, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Hales Corners, Wisconsin and most recently, at Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Sammamish. She had moved from Wisconsin to Issaquah in 2007, in order to be closer to her family.
