He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma S. and Everett M. Foreman; and one sister Beverly D. Foreman.
Jan is survived by his wife of 57 years, whom he married on February 17, 1956, Diane L. Foreman of Redmond; his three children, Mark S. Foreman of Duvall, Deborah D. (Michael) Hren of Huntersville, North Carolina and Steven E. Foreman of Redmond; three grandchildren, Jack T. Owens, Trevor S. Foreman and Nicole A. Foreman; two great grandchildren, Ryland J. Owens and Elijah F. Brown; as well as his brother, Kyle A. (Linda) Foreman of Hayden Lake, Idaho.
In 1994, Jan retired from Cadman Gravel Company where he worked as a heavy equipment operator for 32 years. Jan was also a member of the Redmond Fire Department for 15 years. He traveled several times on behalf of the department to pick up new fire equipment. In addition, he was a member of the American Legion in Redmond and the Masonic Lodge in Bellevue. Jan loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He found great joy while working in his garden and building bird houses in his shed. He loved to travel especially to Hawaii, which he did several times.
The Foreman family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Redmond Fire Department Widow and Orphans Fund or a charity of their choice.
There will be no services at Jan's request. Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
