Linda Lee Dow age 66 of Redmond, Washington passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Kirkland, Washington. Linda was born December 21, 1947, the daughter of Neil and Verna Searle’s in Tacoma Washington. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and has lived in the Redmond area for 50 years. In her spare time Linda loved to Cross Stitch, Knit, take pictures and work in her garden. Linda Graduated from Redmond High School in 1966 and went on to Cosmetology school and became a licensed Cosmetologist in 1969.

In 1974 she switched careers and in 1979 ended up at Rocket Research/Olin Aerospace Company where she worked for 15 years as a Quality Control Inspector. In 1985 and again in 1987 she was nominated for Rocket Research Company Craftsman of the Year award. In 1992 she attended South Seattle Community College and received certification for nondestructive testing.

In 1974 she met Phillip Dow and on June 19th 1975 they were married in Reno, Nevada. Together they built their home in Redmond, Washington in 1980 and have lived there ever since. Linda is survived by her loving husband Phillip of 39 years, son Matthew, granddaughter Molly, brother Jerry, his wife Carol, brother Rick and Fiancée Toni. Close friends Jessica Thorfinson, Sandy Burnite, Dean Lindaas, Tim Burnite, and Mike & Cindy Ford.

Visitation will be at Cedar Lawns Funeral Home on Saturday, November 15, 2014, at 9:00am. Graveside services will be at 11:00am following the visitation
