Randal “Randy” Emerson Baldwin passed away unexpectedly at home on November 7, 2025. Born on July 10, 1962, in Burien, Washington, to Naomi Myers (Dunham) and Harvey Baldwin. Randy lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and devotion to those he loved.
Randy shared his life with his beloved wife, Teresa (Terri) Baldwin (Pearl), whose partnership brought countless adventures, laughter, and quiet moments of peace. Together they built a home filled with warmth—a sanctuary that reflected Randy’s commitment to building a life that embraced friends and family.
A professional truck driver for many years, Randy took great pride in his work. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility—he expected the best from himself because he knew others depended on him.
At home, Randy was the steady heart of the cul-de-sac—the neighbor everyone could count on. Whether fixing something, lending a tool, or sharing advice he was always ready to help or raise a glass of whiskey together. To many of the neighborhood children, he became a “bonus grandparent,” offering kindness, humor, and the occasional helping hand with a bike or a project.
Randy loved the outdoors and the freedom it offered. He found joy in camping trips with Terri and their loyal dog, Ranger, hunting adventures, long rides on his Harley, hours spent tinkering in his garage and sharing his love of music with others. His creativity and care extended to his yard, where he built a personal oasis that reflected his love of nature and craftsmanship.
Randy is survived by his mother Naomi and her partner Dave, brothers and sisters. He will be forever missed by his wife Terri, children Sarah Carlisle (Tim), Wendy Macfarlane (Davie), Michael Carter, Christopher Scott and grandchildren Jack Carlisle, Ryan, and Liam Macfarlane, who brought him immense pride and joy. He was preceded in death by his father Harvey.
Randy’s family and friends will remember him for his humor, loyalty, and genuine heart. His presence will be deeply missed but his influence—steady, kind, and dependable—will live on in the lives he touched.
A celebration of Randy’s life will be held closer to his birthday. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Love Oliver (loveoliver.org.uk) or The Ryan Bury Foundation (ryanburyfoundation.org), both of which reflect Randy’s commitment to family.
